We didn't see any that day, but Falcons inhabit these cliffs and built their nests here during nesting season.
About these pics: We hiked up the Fairlee Palisades and visited the old cemetery in our town (a favorite thing to do by my brother and I especially!) during a wonderful family visit from my brother, his wife and son. We found the grave of Samuel Morey (inventor of the internal combustion engine which well known Robert Fulton received credit for) and John Mann (founder of our town, which was charted in the later part of the 1700's) visit www.ctrivertravel.net/fairlee.htm to learn more on the history of the area!
