Last game of the season and a double-header at that!! All day today Christian was out there. Luckily it wasn't too hot.. but all the forest fires in Canada has made the sky a bit smokey all the way down here in NH.





The first video she knew I was recording..(mean mommy..!!) the second one she didn't.. (I uploaded them backwards...)

Kit and I. Sarah took some pictures of us. She could not go on the ride this time as the horse she borrows "Figgy", (pics of him from Oct or Nov of 09) has not returned from his owners yet, when he does Sarah can join us more.

off we go to pick up one more friend and then onto the trails. Kit could keep pace better this time. No more wanting to get in the front and he even allowed another horse to be close next to him without kicking. Every time we go he gets better and better and I get more comfortable! (but not too comfortable of course!):)

RIP Pie

We had some sad news tonight. Sarah's riding instructor called and said that she had to put down one of her lesson horses.. This horse was very special to Sarah as she rode her a lot.. in fact, she was the horse that Sarah rode for her very first lesson and many more after that. Here is a collection of pictures over the past few years(some have already been on our blog in the past) of Sarah with "Pie". (along with pal Shannon in some) Pie was getting up there in age and had severe arthritis in her neck and she was unbalanced due to it.. therefore, very unsafe to ride and the poor girl was suffering. Rest in peace Pie.

Happy Mother's Day

Me and my babies.. getting too big! I had a great day. Eric and the kids took me to one of my favorite restaurants for seafood and we went for a drive. Happy Mother's Day to all of the mom's in my life! :)

Sarah and I along with Sally (of course!) walked around the yard this afternoon in-between the rain storms as the sun came out briefly to check out the plants that are growing. I usually take the same pics every year and I can't help it as seeing the plants start to come up gets me all excited for summer! :)








the flowering crab and apple trees are in full bloom, but some are looking a bit droopy after the heavy rain we had today.
